Chapter 3: Bozo's Helpful Teeth
Bozo, Captain Fox, and Sparkle were still playing in the water. They were having so much fun!
Then they heard a tiny voice. "Help! Help me!"
"What was that?" asked Captain Fox.
"Over there!" said Sparkle, pointing with her little paw.
They swam over to some rocks. And there, stuck between the rocks, was a little crab!
The crab had a shell. A red shell, just like Bozo!
"I'm stuck! I'm stuck!" cried the crab. "I can't get out!"
Bozo swam closer. He looked at the rocks. They were very, very close together.
"Don't worry," said Bozo. "I can help."
Bozo opened his big mouth. His big teeth showed. The crab looked scared for a moment.
But Bozo was very, very careful. He used his teeth to push the rocks apart. Gently, gently, gently.
The rocks moved!
"Push a bit more!" squeaked Sparkle.
Bozo pushed again. Carefully. Kindly.
Pop! The crab came free!
"Hooray! Hooray!" cheered Captain Fox.
"You did it, Bozo!" said Sparkle, jumping up and down.
The little crab clicked its claws happily. "Thank you! Thank you, big shark! Your teeth saved me!"
Bozo stopped. His teeth had saved the crab? His big teeth were helpful?
"My teeth aren't scary," whispered Bozo. "They're helpful!"
"Of course they are!" said Captain Fox, patting Bozo's fin.
"You're a hero, Bozo!" said Sparkle.
Bozo smiled the biggest smile ever.
"Let's meet here again tomorrow!" said Captain Fox.
"Yes! Tomorrow!" said Sparkle and the little crab.
Bozo nodded. He had friends. Real friends.
And tomorrow, they would play again.
